Bat week

The bat unit is one of my favorite units I get to teach during the year!!

We compared bats and owls

Our mama/daddy bat experiment

We got in the fall spirit and used candy corn to practice making 10's and 1's

We worked with partners during math

We also worked on using ten frames to write addition problems

Story retelling with the 3 bears and Stellaluna:

Counting tallies

Bat measurement

The Lake County Forest Preserve will be visiting us in a few weeks to teach us more about bats!  We will be learning about spiders and have our masquerade party this week, yay!
